For most people, books are only meant for those who they categorize as nerds or geeks.
But you know what?
Books are meant for everyone, even for those who categorize themselves as cool or popular.
And you know what?
The only reason why most people think of such thing is because they don’t know how to find a good book to read – one that will not only make them stay wide awake the entire night, but also one that will make them feel things they never thought were possible for those who are not really into reading books.
That being said, here are some tips for you:
Check out web series.
If books are being adapted into box-office movies and high-rated TV shows, it won’t be surprising for others to also make a web series based on books. Some of the most popular ones in today’s generation include The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, which is based on Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice; Frankenstein, M.D., which is based on Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein; Nothing Much To Do, which is based on Shakespeare’s novels; and The Autobiography of Jane Eyre, which is based on Charlotte Bronte’s Jane Eyre.
Check out movie franchises.
There’s Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark of Suzanne Collins’ The Hunger Games series, both of which were played by Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson in the movie adaptations. There’s also Tris Prior and Tobias Eaton of Veronica Roth’s Divergent series, both of which were played by Shailyn Woodley and Theo James in the movie adaptations. Let’s not forget The Lord of The Rings series, which was divided into three movies – including the spin-off novel, The Hobbit, which was also divided into three movies.
Indeed, there are lots of good books to read.
To find one, you just need to look at the right places.
And yes, this goes for both nerd or geeks and cool or popular…
